We hiked to the summit from Bellows Pipe south trail. The staff was very helpful and directed us to the best trail that we wanted and it did not disappoint. We went on Friday and parking was not a problem. Trailhead can be a little tricky to find and some of the trail is not marked very well.
Gorgeous hiking trails, especially in the fall. Nice long park trails, perfect for biking or hiking. Mountain river/creak offers great views, tiny Sandy beachfront, and plenty of rocks for kids to skip on the water. There are also camp sites along the road, but all we're closed when we arrived here in late fall.
Great hiking trails, especially since the Appalachian trail runs through it. Beautiful vistas and various access points along the mountain from the base to the summit, meaning it's accessible for all levels of fitness. War memorial is understand and compelling.
Mt Greylock is one of the most beautiful state reservations I have ever visited. The trails are well kept and are a pleasure to hike; the views on the way to and at the summit are breathtaking. The visitor center on Rockwell Road is beautiful and offers tons of information on the mountain’s history and what it has to offer. Staff here are great and can help you find the perfect hike for the occasion.
This is the first place you see at Mt. Greylock. You must stop in use the restrooms and get information on the Summitt. There is a ranger at the information desk to answer any question you may have. The views at this level is very nice. There is lots of information inside so this place is a must stop. There is a very large parking lot here. Don't forget to bring your camera on this trip. You can hike or bike at this point or start else were. Sorry I forgot to take a pictures here. :(
